Guide for cardholders
Step-by-step — explained simply

Registration — Create Account

  1. Go to moticard.de and click «Order now».
  2. Enter your email address and a password.
  3. Click «Register».
  4. Confirm your email via the confirmation link.
✅ Your account is now active.

Fill In Medical Data

  1. Log in and go to «My Profile» → tab «Medical».
  2. Allergies — most important! Enter all medication allergies.
  3. Conditions — e.g. diabetes, epilepsy, heart disease.
  4. Medications — all regular medications with dosage.
  5. Emergency contacts — at least one person with phone number.
  6. Click «Save».
💡 Fields you don't want to fill in can be left blank.

Order Your Card

  1. Go to «Order» in your profile.
  2. Select your product (card, dog tag, or bracelet).
  3. Enter your delivery address.
  4. Choose payment method and complete the order.
✅ You'll receive an order confirmation by email.

Receiving the Card — What's on It?

Your stainless steel card has laser-engraved:

  • 📷 QR code — for scanning
  • 🔢 PIN code (4 digits) — for manual access
  • 👤 Your first name and blood type (if chosen)
✅ Test: Scan the QR code with your own phone — you should see your data.

How Does the Doctor Open Your Card?

📷 Method 1 — QR code Point smartphone camera at QR code — page opens immediately.
🔢 Method 2 — PIN Go to sos.moticard.de and enter PIN — profile opens without password.
🚨 Both methods open your profile without a password — exactly for emergencies.

Save Card on Your Phone (as App)

Save sos.moticard.de on your home screen like an app:

📱 iPhone (Safari)
  1. Open sos.moticard.de in Safari
  2. Tap the Share button (square with arrow ↑) in Safari's bottom bar. If it's not visible there — tap «•••» (three dots) and select «Share».
  3. Select «Add to Home Screen»
  4. Tap «Add» ✅
🤖 Android (Chrome)
  1. Open sos.moticard.de in Chrome
  2. Tap three dots ⋮ at top right
  3. Select «Install app»
  4. Confirm ✅

Update Your Data

  1. Log in at moticard.de.
  2. Go to «My Profile».
  3. Change the desired data.
  4. Click «Save».
✅ Your changes are immediately active — no new card needed.

Security and Privacy
▼
  • 🔒 Only people with your QR code or PIN can open your card.
  • 📧 You receive an email when someone opens your card — with time and approximate location.
  • ⛔ You can block and unblock the card at any time.
  • 🇩🇪 Data stored on servers in Germany (GDPR).
  • 🗑️ You can delete your account and all data at any time.
